My Story as a Massage Therapist
I’ve been a massage therapist for five years, but my journey started long before I ever stepped into a treatment room. Growing up, I watched my younger sister, who has cerebral palsy, receive regular massage therapy. Over time, I saw her go from needing orthotic braces just to stand to being able to run, play soccer, and move with a freedom she’d never had before. Witnessing that transformation changed my life. It showed me the power of therapeutic touch and planted the seed for the work I do today.
Since becoming a therapist, I’ve had the privilege of helping clients who arrive with debilitating pain, old injuries, or limited mobility — people who have spent years simply trying to push through their day. Watching them slowly regain range of motion, reduce pain, and reconnect with their bodies is something I never take for granted.
I love being part of someone’s healing journey, whether that means supporting recovery, easing chronic discomfort, or creating a space for deep relaxation. Massage isn’t just a service to me — it’s a way to help people feel more at home in their bodies.
